Salvation

July 31, 2026 · 20 tracks · 2 hrs 14 mins

SALVATION is a sweeping, 20-song musical journey through the greatest story ever told: God's relentless pursuit of humanity and the redemption He secured through His Son, Jesus Christ.

From the glory of creation to the promise of eternity, SALVATION walks through the full arc of the biblical narrative — the beauty of what was made, the tragedy of what was lost, and the breathtaking grace of what has been restored. Every song is rooted in Scripture, following the Bible's own unfolding story from Genesis to Revelation, so that listeners experience salvation not as an abstract doctrine, but as a living, breathing, personal reality.

This album was born out of a conviction that the message of salvation — that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son — is inexhaustible in its depth, beauty, and power. That the cross is not merely a historical event but the turning point of all of human history. That the empty tomb is not merely a miracle but the foundation of every hope we carry. And that this good news is relevant for every person, every age, every stage of life, and every generation.

SALVATION draws from the breadth of Christian musical tradition and reaches across genres to make this ancient message feel as urgent and alive as it is. Listeners will move through soaring cinematic worship, soulful gospel, raw blues, driving rock, acoustic folk, and urban hip-hop — each style carefully chosen to serve the emotional and theological weight of the moment in the story it tells. A song about the Fall sounds nothing like a song about the Resurrection — because it shouldn't. The music itself is part of the message.

Theologically, SALVATION holds firmly to the historic Christian faith: the sinfulness of humanity, the necessity of atonement, the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, justification by grace through faith alone, the bodily resurrection of Jesus, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the assurance of salvation, and the certain hope of eternal life and the new creation. These are not academic concepts here — they are causes for singing, weeping, shouting, and standing in awe.

Whether you are someone who has never heard the gospel, someone exploring faith for the first time, a longtime believer looking to go deeper, or a worshiper seeking songs that are both musically excellent and biblically rich — SALVATION was made for you.

From the very first breath of creation to the last page of Revelation, this is the story of what God has done. This is salvation. And it is worth singing about.

    Lyrics

Before the first breath, before the first dawn Before a single star was placed to carry on You were there in the silence, uncontained and free Then You opened Your mouth and You said, Let there be Light came crashing through the dark The seas obeyed Your voice The mountains rose up at Your word The morning stars rejoiced In the beginning was the Word And the Word spoke light into the night In the beginning all things were made By Your hand, by Your power, by Your might Every mountain, every ocean Every creature, every soul In the beginning You were there, Lord And Your glory filled it all You hung the sun and set the moon in place You carved the rivers out and filled the empty space The creatures of the sea and every bird that flies Were spoken into being underneath these skies Then You knelt in the dust of the earth And breathed the breath of life You made us in Your image, Lord To walk with You and shine In the beginning was the Word And the Word spoke light into the night In the beginning all things were made By Your hand, by Your power, by Your might Every mountain, every ocean Every creature, every soul In the beginning You were there, Lord And Your glory filled it all You looked at all that You had made And You called it very good We were made for Your glory To love You as we should Crowned with honor, given purpose Made to bear Your name Before the fall, before the sorrow This was always Your aim In the beginning was the Word And the Word spoke light into the night In the beginning all things were made By Your hand, by Your power, by Your might Every mountain, every ocean Every creature, every soul In the beginning You were there, Lord And Your glory filled it all And it was good, it was very good Your fingerprints on everything Made in Your image, made for Your glory Created to worship the King Oh, the heavens declare it The earth sings it back From the first word You spoke To the last In the beginning was the Word And the Word spoke light into the night In the beginning all things were made By Your hand, by Your power, by Your might Every mountain, every ocean Every creature, every soul In the beginning You were there, Lord And Your glory filled it all In the beginning... You were there In the beginning... You were there

    Lyrics

There was a voice in the garden, soft and low It asked a question we were never meant to know Did God really say that? was the serpent's play And we traded everything for one forbidden day The fruit looked so good, it seemed so right But the moment we reached out, we lost the light Eyes opened wide to a world of shame Everything changed and nothing stayed the same We fell, we fell from the glory Traded the light for the dark We fell, oh we fell from the garden With an ache in our hearts Sin came in like a flood And it ran through our veins Every one of us fallen Every one bearing chains We heard You walking in the cool of the day And for the first time ever we wanted to run away We sewed up fig leaves, tried to cover our shame But there's no hiding from the One who knows our name The ground was cursed and the pain came in Death entered the world through that one man's sin The distance between us grew wide and long The home we were made for was forever gone We fell, we fell from the glory Traded the light for the dark We fell, oh we fell from the garden With an ache in our hearts Sin came in like a flood And it ran through our veins Every one of us fallen Every one bearing chains Our iniquities have separated us from You Our sins have hidden Your face from our view From the east to the west, from the young to the old There is no one righteous, not one soul We built our towers trying to reach the sky We made our gods from stone and told ourselves a lie The temple of the Lord became a hollow hall And deep inside we knew that we had given all We fell, we fell from the glory Traded the light for the dark We fell, oh we fell from the garden With an ache in our hearts Sin came in like a flood And it ran through our veins Every one of us fallen Every one bearing chains But even in the ruins of the garden You came walking in the cool of the day Calling out to us who hid in darkness Your voice of mercy wouldn't go away You covered our shame with Your own hands You made a way where there was none Even in our falling, You were planning To send us Your only Son We fell, we fell from the glory Traded the light for the dark We fell, oh we fell from the garden With an ache in our hearts Sin came in like a flood And it ran through our veins Every one of us fallen But mercy still remains Every one of us fallen But mercy still remains Lord have mercy Lord have mercy

    Salvation

    The First Promise

    Genesis 3:15; Romans 16:20; Galatians 4:4-5; Revelation 12:9

    Lyrics

In the wreckage of the garden, in the dust and shame Before the gates were closed and nothing stayed the same You could have left us in the silence, left us to the dark But You leaned in close and whispered, right into our hearts A promise wrapped in judgment, grace inside the curse A seed would come to crush the ancient serpent's work From the woman, You declared it, the enemy would fall One day a Savior would be born to answer all our calls This is the first promise, spoken in the dark This is the first gospel, planted like a spark In the ashes of our breaking, You were already there Building a road back home to You Through a grace beyond compare The first promise, the first hope God would send a way The serpent's head would one day fall And death itself would pay Through the long and lonely centuries, the promise held its place Whispered through the prophets, carried down through grace Every sacrifice and altar, every lamb that bled Was pointing to the morning when the promise would be met A woman would receive Him, born beneath the law Full of grace and chosen, trembling and in awe The fullness of the time had come, just as You had said The Seed of every promise would crush the serpent's head This is the first promise, spoken in the dark This is the first gospel, planted like a spark In the ashes of our breaking, You were already there Building a road back home to You Through a grace beyond compare The first promise, the first hope God would send a way The serpent's head would one day fall And death itself would pay Now looking back through history, I can see Your hand Every turning point a step inside Your sovereign plan From the garden to the manger to the cross upon the hill The first word You ever spoke of grace You kept it and You will Every broken heart that's crying, every soul that's lost Can find the hope that started in that garden's frost He who promised is still faithful, He will not relent The first promise still is echoing In every life He's sent This is the first promise, spoken in the dark This is the first gospel, planted like a spark In the ashes of our breaking, You were already there Building a road back home to You Through a grace beyond compare The first promise, the first hope God would send a way The serpent's head would one day fall And death itself would pay Even now, even here In the places where I fear Even now Your promise stands The enemy is under Your hands Nothing born of darkness wins Where the Seed of promise lives You have never left us without hope You have never let us go This is the first promise, spoken in the dark This is the first gospel, planted like a spark In the ashes of our breaking, You were already there Building a road back home to You Through a grace beyond compare The first promise, the first hope God would send a way The serpent's head would one day fall And death itself would pay From the very beginning... You had a plan From the very beginning... You held our hand

    Lyrics

He heard a voice say, Leave everything you know No map, no guarantee, just a word and then go He packed up his whole life and stepped into the wide With nothing but a promise walking right by his side The Lord said, Count the stars if you can tonight Your children will be numbered by that same holy light And Abraham believed it though his body was as good as dead God credited it righteous every single word He said By faith alone, by faith alone Not by the works of our hands or the deeds that we've done By faith alone, by grace alone We are counted righteous by the blood of the Son Like Abraham before us, we believe and we trust By faith alone, by grace alone Is how the righteous must Then came the morning God said, Take your only son Go to Moriah and offer him, the one you love so much And Abraham rose early, didn't question or debate He believed the God who promised could raise him from the grave He laid the boy upon the altar, raised the knife so high When a voice from heaven stopped him, Now I know you fear I myself will provide the lamb... and a ram appeared A picture of the Father and the Son before it all was clear By faith alone, by faith alone Not by the works of our hands or the deeds that we've done By faith alone, by grace alone We are counted righteous by the blood of the Son Like Abraham before us, we believe and we trust By faith alone, by grace alone Is how the righteous must Now faith is the substance of the things we hope to see The evidence of what's not yet in front of you and me Not earned by any effort, not deserved by any deed But freely given, freely taken, by a heart that will believe The promise made to Abraham is still alive today His God is our God and His Word will not decay All who trust in Jesus walk in Abraham's shoes The blessing of the covenant belongs to me and you By faith alone, by faith alone Not by the works of our hands or the deeds that we've done By faith alone, by grace alone We are counted righteous by the blood of the Son Like Abraham before us, we believe and we trust By faith alone, by grace alone Is how the righteous must He was fully persuaded that what God had promised He was able to perform Though the circumstances screamed impossibility He held on through the storm And it was credited to him as righteousness And it's credited to us the same way Every soul that trusts in Jesus Has righteousness applied today So I will leave my comfort, I will trust Your word I will step into the unknown holding on to what I've heard I am not my track record, I am not my past I'm a child of the covenant that's built to last Let the doubters count the reasons and the skeptics list the odds I will count the stars and trust the faithfulness of God Father Abraham is watching from the other side Cheering on his children as they walk in faith and stride By faith alone, by faith alone Not by the works of our hands or the deeds that we've done By faith alone, by grace alone We are counted righteous by the blood of the Son Like Abraham before us, we believe and we trust By faith alone, by grace alone Is how the righteous must A friend of God... called righteous by His grace A friend of God... by faith we take our place

    The Passover Lamb

    Exodus 12:1-30; John 1:29; 1 Corinthians 5:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 5:9

    Lyrics

Four hundred years in chains, crying out from the clay Broken under Pharaoh's hand, with no way to escape But God heard every tear, He heard every groan He sent a deliverer to bring His children home He sent the plagues like thunder, He showed His mighty arm Every idol of Egypt He left broken and scarred And then He gave instructions for the night of final grace Take a lamb without blemish, put the blood in its place Oh the blood of the lamb, the blood of the lamb On the doorpost, on the lintel, cover me where I stand When death came riding through the night It passed over, passed over Oh the blood of the lamb has set us free The blood of the lamb has set us free They took the lamb and slaughtered it as God had commanded Painted crimson on the wood with trembling, faithful hands And when the angel of death came moving through the land Every home marked with the blood was spared by God's own hand The firstborn of Egypt fell with a mighty cry But inside the homes of Israel, death just passed them by They rose and left with singing, with silver and with gold The God who heard their crying brought them out as He had told Oh the blood of the lamb, the blood of the lamb On the doorpost, on the lintel, cover me where I stand When death came riding through the night It passed over, passed over Oh the blood of the lamb has set us free The blood of the lamb has set us free Now John stood at the river and he raised his voice and cried Behold the Lamb of God who takes the world's sin aside Every Passover in Egypt was a picture of this day When Jesus Christ, our Passover, would be our only way Not with silver, not with gold were we redeemed at last But with the precious blood of Christ, the Lamb without a blemish past He became our Passover, He took the judgment's blow So every soul that hides in Him, death has no place to go Oh the blood of the lamb, the blood of the lamb On the doorpost, on the lintel, cover me where I stand When death came riding through the night It passed over, passed over Oh the blood of the lamb has set us free The blood of the lamb has set us free Are you covered by the blood Yes I'm covered by the blood Are you hidden in the Lamb Yes I'm hidden in the Lamb Will death pass over you Death will pass over me Who set the captives free Jesus set the captives free Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive all power and praise Worthy is the Lamb who was slain For every tribe, for every nation's name Oh the blood of the lamb, the blood of the lamb On the doorpost, on the lintel, cover me where I stand When death came riding through the night It passed over, passed over Oh the blood of the lamb has set us free The blood of the lamb has set us free One day around the throne of heaven we will gather and we'll sing To the Lamb who purchased people out of every earthly thing From every tongue and nation, every color, every age All redeemed by His blood, set free from sin's old cage So let the church rise up and let the hallelujah ring From every broken vessel that was rescued by the King We were slaves but now we're free, we were dead but now we live All because of the Passover Lamb who had everything to give Oh the blood of the lamb, the blood of the lamb On the doorpost, on the lintel, cover me where I stand When death came riding through the night It passed over, passed over Oh the blood of the lamb has set us free The blood of the lamb has set us free Hallelujah to the Lamb The blood of the lamb has set us free Let it pass over... pass over Let the blood cover me

    The Law and the Mirror

    Exodus 20:1-17; Romans 3:19-20; Romans 7:7-12, 24-25; Galatians 3:19-25

    Lyrics

From the mountain came the thunder, and the mountain burned with flame God descended to His people and declared His holy name He inscribed the law in tablets with His own almighty hand Ten commandments carved in stone to show us where we stand No other gods before Him, take no idol to your heart Do not take His name in vain or let the Sabbath fall apart Honor father, honor mother, you shall not commit a sin And I tried to keep the law of God but the law looked deep within The law is holy, just and good It showed me everything I should have been But like a mirror only shows me It could never make me clean The law revealed the sickness But it couldn't be the cure It drove me to my knees and cried You need something more I need something more I was following the letter but the spirit I could not Every time I kept one commandment there were ten more that I fought For the law says do not covet but it only woke desire I was drowning in the flood of all the things I couldn't require The law shows us that every mouth is stopped and every man is lost That all the world stands guilty and accountable at its cost No living soul is justified by keeping what it says But through the law comes knowledge of the sin inside our days The law is holy, just and good It showed me everything I should have been But like a mirror only shows me It could never make me clean The law revealed the sickness But it couldn't be the cure It drove me to my knees and cried You need something more I need something more So what then was the purpose? Was it given just to condemn The law was our guardian, our schoolmaster to lead to Him To show us we are helpless, that we cannot save ourselves To bring us to the end of us and reach for Someone else Like a tutor leading children to the teacher who would come The law held out its hand to us and pointed to the Son Go to Him, the law was crying, I have done all that I can I have shown you that you need a Savior... now go, receive the Lamb The law is holy, just and good It showed me everything I should have been But like a mirror only shows me It could never make me clean The law revealed the sickness But it couldn't be the cure It drove me to my knees and cried You need something more I need something more Oh what a wretched man I am Who will rescue me from this Tried to do the good I want to do But sin was there like a fist Who will deliver me from this body of death Who will set the prisoner free Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ my Lord He has answered every plea Thanks be to God, through Jesus Christ my Lord There is righteousness for me Now Christ is the fulfillment of the law in every way He kept it perfectly and offered up His life that day The righteousness the law required was placed upon the Son And all who trust in Jesus are declared completely done No longer under guardianship, the tutor's work is through We are sons and daughters running straight into the new The law still shows its glory, holy, righteous and so true But now I'm wrapped in Jesus and His law is written new The law is holy, just and good It showed me everything I should have been But Jesus came and did it all And now in Him I'm fully clean The law revealed the sickness And Jesus was the cure He drove back every charge against me Now I need nothing more I have something more Thanks be to God, thanks be to God Through Jesus Christ our Lord Thanks be to God, thanks be to God His grace is our reward

    Suffering Servant

    Lyrics

Who has believed the message that we heard To whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed He grew up like a tender shoot from dry ground No beauty, nothing there to be appealed He was despised and rejected by His own A man of sorrows, walking in our grief We hid our faces from Him, looked away We thought He suffered under God's own grief But surely He carried our pain He bore the weight of all our shame He was pierced for our transgressions He was crushed for what we'd done The punishment that brought us peace Was laid upon the Son And by His wounds... by His wounds We are healed All we like sheep have wandered, gone astray Each one of us has turned to his own way But the Lord laid all our iniquity Upon the one who chose to take our place that day He was oppressed and He was led like a lamb Before the shearer, silent and still He did not open His mouth to protest He laid down every right inside God's will But surely He carried our pain He bore the weight of all our shame He was pierced for our transgressions He was crushed for what we'd done The punishment that brought us peace Was laid upon the Son And by His wounds... by His wounds We are healed Seven hundred years before the nails were driven A prophet wrote it down with trembling hand The face of God's own servant was disfigured Yet through this suffering, God's purpose was His plan He poured Himself out unto death, numbered Among the sinners in His final breath He bore the sin of many, making intercession And God was pleased to crush Him... unto death But surely He carried our pain He bore the weight of all our shame He was pierced for our transgressions He was crushed for what we'd done The punishment that brought us peace Was laid upon the Son And by His wounds... by His wounds We are healed He was the Shepherd who became the lamb He was the King who wore our crown of thorns He was the Word made flesh and torn apart That we might be restored What kind of love would choose this kind of suffering What kind of God would lay His glory down He saw the joy beyond His own affliction And He took our sin upon Himself without a sound After the suffering of His soul He will see The light of life and He will be satisfied By His knowledge this righteous Servant will justify The many, bearing every sin we tried to hide Therefore God has given Him the highest place He will divide the spoils of the great and strong Every knee will bow and every tongue will praise Him The Lamb who suffered... He was right all along He surely carried our pain He bore the weight of all our shame He was pierced for our transgressions He was crushed for what we'd done The punishment that brought us peace Was laid upon the Son And by His wounds... by His wounds We are healed By His wounds, we are healed We are healed He was silent... like a lamb And by His wounds... we are healed

Come all you who are thirsty, come and drink Come all you who are hungry for more than this You've been spending all your wages on what fades away There is bread that satisfies, there is a better way The King of all creation opened up His doors And He calls across the desert to the weary and the worn Why work for what can't fill you, why hunger for a stone When the Bread of Life is calling, you don't have to search alone Come to the water, come to the water Every thirsty soul is welcome here Come to the water, come to the water Let the living stream wash away your fear He is calling out to you across the noise and strife Come to the water, come to the River of Life Jesus sat beside a well on a Samaritan afternoon He asked a woman for a drink who didn't know His name If you knew who you were talking to you'd ask, He said to her And I would give you living water, you would never thirst again She left her jar behind her at the well She ran into the city and she began to tell Come and see the Man who told me everything I've done Could this be the long-awaited, the Anointed One Come to the water, come to the water Every thirsty soul is welcome here Come to the water, come to the water Let the living stream wash away your fear He is calling out to you across the noise and strife Come to the water, come to the River of Life At the Feast He stood and lifted up His voice Let anyone who's thirsty come to Me and drink Whoever believes in Me, streams of living water Will flow like rivers from the deepest part of them He was speaking of the Spirit He would pour on all Who opened up their hearts and answered to the call The same voice that invites us still is speaking now Come and find the rest your restless soul's been searching for somehow Come to the water, come to the water Every thirsty soul is welcome here Come to the water, come to the water Let the living stream wash away your fear He is calling out to you across the noise and strife Come to the water, come to the River of Life Are you tired, are you worn out Carrying more than you were made to bear He said, Come to Me you heavy laden I will give you rest beyond compare His yoke is easy and His burden light He calls the weary and the weak Every broken soul, every searching heart This is the One you've been trying to seek And at the end of all the ages, in the city of the Lamb The Spirit and the Bride will call out to every man Come, whoever is thirsty, let them come and take their fill The water of life given freely... come and drink your fill From the first word in the garden to the last page of time God has always been the One who calls the lost back to His side So let the Spirit keep on calling, let the church keep singing too Come to the water, there is room, there is room for you Come to the water, come to the water Every thirsty soul is welcome here Come to the water, come to the water Let the living stream wash away your fear He is calling out to you across the noise and strife Come to the water, come to the River of Life The River of Life Come... just as you are Come... He's not far The water is free, the water is free Come to the water

    Prepare the Way

    Lyrics

Four hundred years of silence, not a prophet's word The heavens seemed like iron, the prayers seemed unheard Then a voice tore through the desert like a trumpet blast The long-awaited messenger had come at last He came eating wild honey, robed in camel's hair Crying out repentance to all those gathered there You brood of vipers, who has warned you of the wrath The axe is at the root, you better change your path Prepare the way of the Lord Make the crooked places straight Every valley lifted up Every mountain, let it break He is coming with His kingdom He is coming with His fire Prepare the way, prepare the way The Messiah draws near Every high place will be leveled, every low place will be raised The crooked paths made straight before the God of Ancient Days He is coming with His winnowing fork in hand To thresh the floor and gather wheat across this land I baptize you with water, the prophet cried aloud But the One who comes behind me, I'm not fit to touch His sandal's vow He will baptize you with Spirit, He will baptize you with flame The One who's standing right among you... I am not His name Prepare the way of the Lord Make the crooked places straight Every valley lifted up Every mountain, let it break He is coming with His kingdom He is coming with His fire Prepare the way, prepare the way The Messiah draws near Every eye will see His glory, all the earth will see God's salvation Not just Israel but every nation from shore to shore The King of every people, the Savior of the broken He is coming and the world will be different than before So what does preparation look like for a heart That's been overgrown with pride and filled with every dark Repent and be baptized, bring forth fruits of change Fill the valleys with surrender, let the mountains rearrange Prepare the way of the Lord Make the crooked places straight Every valley lifted up Every mountain, let it break He is coming with His kingdom He is coming with His fire Prepare the way, prepare the way The Messiah draws near Is there something in the way Between my heart and You today Is there pride I haven't yielded Or a valley I've kept hidden Make me ready, make me ready Lord, prepare my heart for You Let everything that's blocking You Be broken and made new The silence has been broken The forerunner has spoken Every ear that hears must choose The kingdom is approaching Now we are the voices crying in the wilderness today The church of the living God that was sent to lead the way Every life that's been transformed is a message to the world The King is coming back again, let the news be heard Lift your heads, you ancient gates, swing wide you ancient doors The King of Glory is returning, more glorious than before We who know His name must cry it to the empty and the lost Prepare the way of the Lord, whatever be the cost Prepare the way of the Lord Make the crooked places straight Every valley lifted up Every mountain, let it break He is coming with His kingdom He is coming with His fire Prepare the way, prepare the way The Messiah draws near Prepare the way, prepare the way The King of kings is here Make way, make way, make way for the King Make way, make way, let His glory ring

    Lyrics

In the beginning was the Word And the Word was God Himself The King of every age and world Beyond all earthly wealth He did not count equality With God a thing to hold But emptied Himself of all His rights And stepped into the cold Of a dark and fallen world that had forgotten who He was He came without a trumpet blast, He came because of love Emmanuel, Emmanuel God with us, God with us The Word that flung the stars in place Was wrapped in human dust Heaven stepped down into a manger Into Bethlehem's cold night Emmanuel, Emmanuel God is with us... God is light A young girl heard an angel speak And trembled at his word You will conceive and bear a Son The highest to be heard Call His name Emmanuel And call His name the Lord The Holy Spirit will come upon you God Himself adored And in a town called Bethlehem too small to matter much The Bread of Life was laid among the wheat and hay and dust Emmanuel, Emmanuel God with us, God with us The Word that flung the stars in place Was wrapped in human dust Heaven stepped down into a manger Into Bethlehem's cold night Emmanuel, Emmanuel God is with us... God is light The shepherds in the field were told By angels bright and clear Unto you is born this day A Savior, do not fear In the City of great David You will find the child Lying in a manger wrapped Go worship, be reconciled And the magi from the east brought gold for more than games For a King was in a cradle bearing all of heaven's claims Emmanuel, Emmanuel God with us, God with us The Word that flung the stars in place Was wrapped in human dust Heaven stepped down into a manger Into Bethlehem's cold night Emmanuel, Emmanuel God is with us... God is light What the law and prophets whispered What the ages longed to see Was a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes Born to set us free The fullness of the Godhead dwelling In a body made of clay The Maker walking among His making Born of woman on that day Oh the mystery of godliness God appearing in the flesh Oh the mercy of the Father That He gave us His own best Oh come let us adore Him Christ the Lord, Emmanuel The virgin's Son, the Ancient of Days Has come among us to dwell He grew in wisdom and in favor With both God and man A carpenter's apprentice Who was part of the eternal plan He came unto His own And His own did not receive But to all who did receive Him He gave the right to believe He gave the right to become The very children of God Not born of human will or flesh But born of the Lord Emmanuel, Emmanuel God with us, God with us The Word that flung the stars in place Was wrapped in human dust Heaven stepped down into a manger Into Bethlehem's cold night Emmanuel, Emmanuel God is with us... God is light God is with us... God is with us Emmanuel Emmanuel... God with us Emmanuel... God with us The Word became flesh And dwelt among us Emmanuel

    Lyrics

He came from Galilee to the Jordan's side Where John was standing, preaching to the crowd No fanfare, no parade, just a carpenter's hands Wading into water, humble and unbowed John tried to stop Him, saying, I need to be baptized by You But Jesus said, Let it be so, it is right This is how we fulfill all that righteousness requires And heaven opened up with blinding light Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world Behold the Lamb of God The One the whole of heaven loved The Spirit fell like a dove on the water The Father's voice broke through the sky Behold the Lamb of God, chosen before all time This is God's beloved Son... behold the Lamb of God John looked up and saw the Spirit resting there Like a dove descending gently on His head Then the voice of God the Father split the silence This is My beloved Son, in Him I'm well pleased, He said The One who knew no sin stepped into the water To identify with those He came to save Not because He needed cleansing or forgiveness But to walk the road we walk toward the grave Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world Behold the Lamb of God The One the whole of heaven loved The Spirit fell like a dove on the water The Father's voice broke through the sky Behold the Lamb of God, chosen before all time This is God's beloved Son... behold the Lamb of God Chosen before the foundation of the world was laid Precious beyond all measure, beyond all human trade What the Passover lambs had whispered through the years Was now standing in the Jordan... and John had seen it clear He is the Lamb who takes the sin of all the world He is the Son who came to do the Father's will He was anointed by the Spirit for the mission He was given And the mountain tops of heaven are singing still Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world Behold the Lamb of God The One the whole of heaven loved The Spirit fell like a dove on the water The Father's voice broke through the sky Behold the Lamb of God, chosen before all time This is God's beloved Son... behold the Lamb of God I have heard His voice calling out my name I have felt the water and I've never been the same I have seen the Spirit resting on my life He is my Beloved and I am His delight I was not chosen for my goodness or my worth I was loved before the stars were placed, before my birth He came into the water so that I could come to Him He who had no sin became my sin Now we stand on this side of the empty tomb Knowing what the mission was that started at the river The Lamb who was baptized was the Lamb who would be slain And the Lamb who rose from death is the Lamb who is our Giver Worthy is the Lamb to receive all glory Worthy is the Lamb, honor, power and might Every voice in heaven cries out to the Lamb The One who stepped into the Jordan on that holy night Behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world Behold the Lamb of God The One the whole of heaven loved The Spirit fell like a dove on the water The Father's voice broke through the sky Behold the Lamb of God, chosen before all time This is God's beloved Son... behold the Lamb of God Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb Behold the Lamb of God Behold Him... behold Him The Lamb of God

    Lyrics

He climbed the hillside and He sat among the crowd And when He opened up His mouth the world turned upside down Blessed are the poor in spirit, theirs is heaven's ground Blessed are the ones who mourn, they will be comfort-found Blessed are the meek, they will inherit what the proud have lost Blessed are those who hunger for what only God has got Blessed are the merciful, the pure, the peacemakers too He was painting us a picture of the kingdom breaking through Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven We have nothing left to bring You but ourselves undone Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven Here I am, here I am, Lord Let Your kingdom come The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, He stood up and declared To proclaim good news to the poor, to heal beyond repair To set the prisoners free and give sight to the blind To announce the year of the Lord's favor to all mankind He rolled up the scroll and sat and said Today this is fulfilled The room fell silent, staring at the words They couldn't quite believe what they had heard or what they'd willed Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven We have nothing left to bring You but ourselves undone Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven Here I am, here I am, Lord Let Your kingdom come Nicodemus came by night, a teacher and a man of name No one could do these things unless the Lord was with Him all the same And Jesus looked at him and said You must be born again No one can see the kingdom except the Spirit blows like wind The wind blows where it will and you can hear its voice But you can't tell where it comes from, it's beyond your choice So it is with those born of the Spirit, called by Name Unless you're born of water and the Spirit, life won't be the same Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven We have nothing left to bring You but ourselves undone Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven Here I am, here I am, Lord Let Your kingdom come Our Father in heaven, holy is Your name Your kingdom come, Your will be done in me the same Give us today what we need for today Forgive us as we forgive, lead us not astray Deliver us from evil, for Yours is the power The kingdom, the glory for ever this hour For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son That whoever would believe in Him would not be lost but won Not to condemn the world He came, but that the world would live Through every soul reborn of Spirit, this is what He gives So the kingdom of the upside down keeps growing like a seed Like the yeast that works through all the flour, this is all we need The smallest seed becomes a tree where every bird can nest The kingdom has been planted and the King will do the rest Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven We have nothing left to bring You but ourselves undone Your kingdom come, Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven Here I am, here I am, Lord Let Your kingdom come Let Your kingdom come Blessed are those who hunger Blessed are those who thirst Your kingdom come

    Son of Man

    Mark 2:1-12; Luke 7:22; Matthew 9:35-36; John 11:25-26; Mark 10:45

    Lyrics

Son of Man, Son of Man Walking through the cities, every village, every town He saw the sick, He saw the broken, He saw the ones who'd drowned In their sorrow and their suffering and their sin and their shame And everywhere He went He stopped and spoke their name He healed the blind, He healed the deaf, He cleansed the lepers' skin He opened up the ears of those who'd never heard the wind He stood outside a tomb and said Lazarus, come on out And a dead man walked back into the light without a doubt They brought a paralyzed man through the roof on a mat Four friends so full of faith they climbed up just like that And Jesus didn't start with healing, looked him in the eye and said Your sins are forgiven, friend, now rise and walk instead Son of Man, He came to serve Not to be served, that's His word Gave His life as the ransom price For every one of us Son of Man, He saw the crowd He had compassion, He cried out loud He walked among the overlooked And He lifted us up Son of Man The scribes were watching, folding arms, Who does He think He is Only God can forgive a sin... this man belongs to His But Jesus knew their thinking so He asked them plain and straight Which is easier to say, 'Be healed' or 'Sin's erased' But so that you might know the Son of Man has authority To forgive sins on this earth... He turned and let the man be free Take up your mat and walk on home... the crowd just lost their minds They glorified the God who gave such power to mankind The woman with the issue who had suffered twelve long years She pushed through every barrier, pressed through every fear She touched the hem of His garment and was made completely whole Jesus turned around and said Your faith has saved your soul Son of Man, He came to serve Not to be served, that's His word Gave His life as the ransom price For every one of us Son of Man, He saw the crowd He had compassion, He cried out loud He walked among the overlooked And He lifted us up Son of Man I am the Resurrection and the Life, He said to her Whoever lives and believes in Me will never die, is that your word Mary fell at His feet and Jesus wept right there The shortest verse in all the Bible... He's a God who cares He wept because He loved them and He felt the weight of death He wept because He's fully man who takes our every breath Then He raised His voice and called out to the grave Come on forth And He showed us what the resurrection is and what it's worth Every leper, every outcast, every woman and the men Who'd been told they had no value in the culture of back then He looked right past their labels and He saw them as they were Made in the image of a God who doesn't miss a word Son of Man, He came to serve Not to be served, that's His word Gave His life as the ransom price For every one of us Son of Man, He saw the crowd He had compassion, He cried out loud He walked among the overlooked And He lifted us up Son of Man He still sees you, He still sees you Every name you've been called, every label you've been given He still sees you, He still sees you Every wound you've been carrying, every chain you've been living in He came to set you free, He came to give you life He came to be the Ransom, He came to win the fight The Son of Man didn't come to be served He came to serve He didn't come to be impressed by the powerful He came to find the lost He didn't come for the healthy He came for the sick He didn't come for those who think they've got it together He came for every broken, every hungry, every outcast He came for you Son of Man, He came to serve Not to be served, that's His word Gave His life as the ransom price For every one of us Son of Man, He saw the crowd He had compassion, He cried out loud He walked among the overlooked And He lifted us up Son of Man, Son of Man Still moving through the cities of this broken world today Still healing and still calling every wandering heart His way His church is now His body and His Spirit is the fire Still seeing what the world ignores, still lifting every sire So we go where He would go and we love the way He loved We extend His hands of mercy to the ones who've been shoved Aside by pride and power, by the status and the shame The Son of Man is still at work, still calling out each name Son of Man, He came to serve Not to be served, that's His word Gave His life as the ransom price For every one of us Son of Man, He saw the crowd He had compassion, He cried out loud He walked among the overlooked And He lifted us up Son of Man Son of Man He sees you, He knows you, He loves you Son of Man

    Lyrics

He led them to the garden in the dead of night And said, Stay here and keep watch with Me a while Then He walked a little further till He was alone And fell with His face upon the ground in the dark Father, if it's possible, let this cup pass by Is there any other way that this can be done Yet not as I will but as You will, be it so The weight of all our sin was pressing down In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane The Son of God knelt down for you and me In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane He chose the cup, He chose our cup of grief When it would have been so easy to step back, to walk away He stayed and prayed and said, Your will be done today In Gethsemane He came back to His disciples, found them fast asleep Could you not watch one hour with Me? Can you not keep The spirit's willing but the flesh is weak, He said Then He went back to the garden once again Sweat like drops of blood fell from His brow to the ground An angel came from heaven just to strengthen Him He offered up His prayers with loud and reverent cries To the One who was able to save from death In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane The Son of God knelt down for you and me In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane He chose the cup, He chose our cup of grief When it would have been so easy to step back, to walk away He stayed and prayed and said, Your will be done today In Gethsemane He learned obedience through everything He suffered here And though He was the Son, He bowed beneath the Father's will Hebrews says He cried with reverence and godly fear Not sparing any prayer until His heart was still When He returned the third time, Peter, James and John Were sleeping through the weight of grief like gravity He said, The hour has come, rise up, let us go The one who would betray Me's near to Me In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane The Son of God knelt down for you and me In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane He chose the cup, He chose our cup of grief When it would have been so easy to step back, to walk away He stayed and prayed and said, Your will be done today In Gethsemane While we were yet sinners, while we were still far While we were His enemies, He loved us where we are He didn't wait until we cleaned ourselves and came around He chose the suffering while we were on the ground Oh the love that knelt in darkness for the ones who were asleep Oh the love that prayed for traitors, for the lost and for the weak He could have called ten thousand angels but He folded up His hands And rose to face the cross that we deserved There's a garden in my story where I face the unknown road Where the cup before me looks too heavy and too cold And I come to this moment, this surrender at the ground And I remember Gethsemane and what was found Not my will but Yours be done, Lord, I release my tight-fisted plan Not my fear, not my understanding, but Your hand Every place in me that's trembling, every part that wants to run I will follow You into the garden, Your will be done In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane The Son of God knelt down for you and me In Gethsemane, in Gethsemane He chose the cup, He chose our cup of grief When it would have been so easy to step back, to walk away He stayed and prayed and said, Your will be done today In Gethsemane Not my will but Yours be done In Gethsemane Your will be done Your will be done Your will be done Your will be done

    Lyrics

They put a crown of thorns upon His head And led the King of Glory out to die They laid the cross upon His broken back And made Him carry it to Calvary's side Pilate washed his hands but couldn't wash the guilt The crowd cried out for blood they didn't understand The soldiers threw the dice to win His coat While God was dying at the work of human hands He made no threat, He spoke no curse He prayed for those who drove the nails He was innocent and He knew it And still He would not turn away or fail At the cross, at the cross Where the Son of God became a curse for me At the cross, at the cross He took every sin on that tree He was forsaken so I'd never be forsaken He was broken so my chains could fall At the cross, at the cross The greatest love of all They crucified the Lord of life at nine And darkness covered all the earth at noon He hung between two thieves in open shame While heaven held its breath and watched the wound The soldiers pierced His side with a spear And blood and water flowed out from His frame It was the Father's plan to crush His Son So that every sinner lost could be reclaimed God demonstrates His love for us That while we were still sinners, Christ was slain He bore the sin of every human soul He took upon Himself our guilt and shame At the cross, at the cross Where the Son of God became a curse for me At the cross, at the cross He took every sin on that tree He was forsaken so I'd never be forsaken He was broken so my chains could fall At the cross, at the cross The greatest love of all He who knew no sin was made to be our sin So that we in Him might be the righteousness of God He became the curse that hung upon the tree So the blessing of the Father could be ours, unbowed The righteous died once for the unrighteous To bring us to the God from whom we'd run The Just was slain to justify the guilty Once and for all, the Father gave His Son What kind of love leaves everything behind What kind of God would die for those who fled What kind of King would lay His glory down And carry all our judgment in His stead At the cross, at the cross Where the Son of God became a curse for me At the cross, at the cross He took every sin on that tree He was forsaken so I'd never be forsaken He was broken so my chains could fall At the cross, at the cross The greatest love of all I survey the wondrous cross Where the Prince of Glory died My richest gain I count but loss And pour contempt on all my pride When I look at what He suffered When I feel the weight of what He bore Every high thing in me humbles Every boast is silenced to the floor Love so amazing, so divine Demands my soul, my life, my all It was not the nails that held Him It was love, it was love that held Him there Now from the cross of Christ I will not boast in anything No, the world is crucified to me and I to everything The price was far too costly to add anything I've done The cross was all-sufficient, I am hidden in the Son So I look upon the cross not with a distant, passing glance I look upon the cross and know that this is where I stand The center of my story, the core of all I sing Jesus Christ and Him crucified is everything At the cross, at the cross Where the Son of God became a curse for me At the cross, at the cross He took every sin on that tree He was forsaken so I'd never be forsaken He was broken so my chains could fall At the cross, at the cross The greatest love of all At the cross... the greatest love of all He loved us to the end... He loved us to the end At the cross... at the cross

    Lyrics

He said, I am thirsty, and they raised a sponge Soaked in vinegar and lifted to His lips It was the last fulfillment of the word He spoke The final prophecy right on the brink Then He bowed His head and said three words Three words that changed eternity that day The debt of every sin from every soul Was stamped Paid in full and sent away It is finished, it is finished The price has been completely paid It is finished, it is finished The gates of grace are open wide Every charge against me, canceled Every sin and shame erased It is finished Tetelestai... it is done And the moment that He breathed His final breath The temple veil was torn from top to down The earth was shaking and the tombs were splitting And the centurion fell to the ground The veil was not torn by a human hand It was the Father tearing down the wall The way into the Most Holy Place was open For every one of us, for one and all It is finished, it is finished The price has been completely paid It is finished, it is finished The gates of grace are open wide Every charge against me, canceled Every sin and shame erased It is finished Tetelestai... it is done He entered not the temple made with hands But through the greater, perfect tabernacle true Not with the blood of goats and calves repeated But once with His own blood He entered through He obtained eternal redemption for us He purified our consciences from death No longer to be offered year by year His one sacrifice was all it took, all it gets It is finished, it is finished The price has been completely paid It is finished, it is finished The gates of grace are open wide Every charge against me, canceled Every sin and shame erased It is finished Tetelestai... it is done There is therefore now no condemnation For those who are in Christ Jesus, none The law of the Spirit of life in Him Has set us free from sin and death and done So I draw near with full assurance Having my heart sprinkled clean inside No longer standing at the threshold He has opened wide the door and called me inside The curtain has been torn asunder The way to God is clear and free What thousands of sacrifices couldn't purchase His one death accomplished finally I will come boldly to the throne of grace Because the blood of Jesus cleared my way I have a High Priest who has gone before me Who sits at God's right hand and prays So let me hold unswervingly the hope I say I have The One who promised is completely faithful still And every time I enter into worship I walk through the torn curtain by His will It is finished, it is finished The price has been completely paid It is finished, it is finished The gates of grace are open wide Every charge against me, canceled Every sin and shame erased It is finished Tetelestai... it is done It is fine... it is done Forever, it is done Tetelestai It is finished The debt is paid

    Lyrics

He is risen, He is risen Before the sun had risen on the first day of the week Two women went to see the tomb, their hearts heavy with grief But what they found that morning was not what they had planned An angel sitting on the stone, the stone rolled by God's hand Why do you look for the living among the dead? he said He is not here, He has risen just as He told you then Remember how He said it, now go and tell His friends Death came for the Son of God and death lost in the end Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him He walked right out of the darkness into the light Death could not hold Him, the stone was just waiting To be rolled away on Resurrection morning bright O death, where is your sting now O grave, where is your victory Thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through Jesus Christ our Lord... He is free Mary stood outside the empty tomb and wept her tears She thought that someone took the body... she was gripped with fear She turned around and saw what seemed to be the gardener there Until He spoke her name... and she knew beyond compare She ran back to the city, couldn't hold it in I have seen the Lord! she cried, He's risen from the dead The disciples in the upper room locked the door with dread Until He stood among them, wounds and all, and said Peace be with you, peace be with you It is Me, I am alive Come and see My hands and side The Son of Man is here Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him He walked right out of the darkness into the light Death could not hold Him, the stone was just waiting To be rolled away on Resurrection morning bright O death, where is your sting now O grave, where is your victory Thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through Jesus Christ our Lord... He is free Paul received the message that was passed down to him true That Christ died for our sins exactly as the Scripture knew That He was buried and He rose again the third day bright And He appeared to Peter, then to twelve within the light He appeared to more than five hundred at the very same time He appeared to James, then all the apostles over time Then last of all He appeared to Paul, as one untimely born And that same resurrection power is working in us now forevermore Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him He walked right out of the darkness into the light Death could not hold Him, the stone was just waiting To be rolled away on Resurrection morning bright O death, where is your sting now O grave, where is your victory Thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through Jesus Christ our Lord... He is free Is He alive He is alive Is the grave still holding No, He's alive Who has the victory Jesus has the victory Who defeated death Jesus defeated death Death is swallowed up in victory The sting of death was sin and the strength of sin was the law But thanks be to God, thanks be to God Thanks be to God who gives us the victory He cannot die again, death has no more control He died to sin once and now He lives for God alone And in the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive In Christ Jesus your Lord... you are alive So if the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead Is living on the inside of every soul He's led He who raised Christ from the dead will give life to every bone By the Spirit who is living in each soul He's known This is not a fairy tale, this is not a myth or dream Paul said if Christ is not raised our faith is just a thing But He has been raised, He is the firstfruits of the dead And at His coming, all who belong to Him are led Into resurrection glory, into life beyond the grave We who are in Christ will share the resurrection that He gave So let the church cry out today, let every voice declare Death could not hold our Savior and it will not hold us there Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him He walked right out of the darkness into the light Death could not hold Him, the stone was just waiting To be rolled away on Resurrection morning bright O death, where is your sting now O grave, where is your victory Thanks be to God who gives us the victory Through Jesus Christ our Lord... He is free He is risen, He is risen He is risen from the dead He is risen... He is risen Death has lost, life has won He is risen... He is risen It has been done

I was dead in my sins, I was far from the light I was following the prince of the air in the night I was living for myself and the hunger inside But the mercy of God reached me right where I hide He is rich in mercy, great in love beyond my scope He made me alive together with Christ He raised me up and seated me in heavenly hope Not because of anything I did... it was His choice Saved by grace, through faith alone Not by works, not by what I've done It's a gift of God, it cannot be earned Every soul that's lost can be returned Saved by grace... all you have to do Is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart That Jesus Christ is Lord and He rose from the dead And salvation is yours right where you start Saved by grace For God so loved the world, He didn't send His Son to condemn He sent Him into the darkness so the darkness couldn't win Everyone who believes in Him will never perish, it's true Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be pulled through It doesn't matter where you come from, what your past has been Rich or poor, every nation, every color of skin The same Lord over all is rich in blessing for every call Everyone who calls on Him will not stumble and fall Saved by grace, through faith alone Not by works, not by what I've done It's a gift of God, it cannot be earned Every soul that's lost can be returned Saved by grace... all you have to do Is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart That Jesus Christ is Lord and He rose from the dead And salvation is yours right where you start Saved by grace When the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared It was not because of righteous things we'd done through the years But because of His mercy He saved us, washing us new Through the renewing of the Spirit that He poured out on you He justified us freely by His wonderful grace So we would become heirs of the hope and take our place In the family of God, not as servants but as sons Co-heirs with Jesus, everything He has is ours because of what He's done Saved by grace, through faith alone Not by works, not by what I've done It's a gift of God, it cannot be earned Every soul that's lost can be returned Saved by grace... all you have to do Is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart That Jesus Christ is Lord and He rose from the dead And salvation is yours right where you start Saved by grace Nothing in death or life, nothing that exists Nothing in height or depth will separate us from this The love of God in Christ Jesus is permanent and true He who began a good work will complete it through So I'm not holding on by my own strength today It's not my grip on Him, it's His grip on my way He who started it will finish what He's done I am forever safe inside the Son Maybe you're sitting with this right now And you're wondering if it's really for you Maybe your past feels too heavy Maybe your mistakes feel too many Maybe you've tried religion and found it empty This isn't religion... this is a Person And His name is Jesus And He died for you And He rose for you And He is calling you right now If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead You will be saved Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved That means you So here I stand, not on the ground of what I've achieved But on the solid rock of every promise I've believed You finished what You started, You called me by my name And I will spend eternity in worship of Your grace No condemnation, no more hiding, no more shame I'm not defined by my sin, I'm called by a new name Your workmanship, Your masterpiece, created for good works Planned before the world began, I know my purpose and my worth Saved by grace, through faith alone Not by works, not by what I've done It's a gift of God, it cannot be earned Every soul that's lost can be returned Saved by grace... all you have to do Is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart That Jesus Christ is Lord and He rose from the dead And salvation is yours right where you start Saved by grace Saved by grace Everyone who calls... saved by grace Call on His name... He will save you Call on His name... He is faithful Saved by grace... saved by grace

    Lyrics

They were gathered in the upper room, waiting as He said Ten days since He had left them, ten days filled with prayer instead Then suddenly a rushing wind filled every single space And tongues of fire rested on each one assembled there They were all filled with the Spirit, began to speak in tongues Crowds from every nation heard the wonders of God's ones Peter stood and said, You men of Judea, hear me out What you're seeing and what you're hearing... this is what it's all about Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire Poured out on all flesh just like the Prophet said Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire The same power that raised Jesus from the dead He is living on the inside of every soul who believes Spirit and fire, burning in me Spirit and fire, breathe on me Peter preached the risen Christ, that God had made Him Lord That by the determinate counsel of God, He was restored What shall we do? three thousand cried with guilt upon their face Repent and be baptized in His name and take your place The gift of the Holy Spirit will be given to you The promise is for you and for your children, it is true And for all who are far off... for everyone the Lord our God will call The Spirit is the down-payment, the guarantee of all Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire Poured out on all flesh just like the Prophet said Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire The same power that raised Jesus from the dead He is living on the inside of every soul who believes Spirit and fire, burning in me Spirit and fire, breathe on me There is no condemnation now for those in Christ, none Because the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus Has set us free from the law of sin and death that's done The Spirit himself testifies alongside our own spirit That we are children of God, we are heirs of glory If we suffer with Him we will share His story We are not left as orphans, the Comforter has come The Counselor, the Spirit of truth inside each one Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire Poured out on all flesh just like the Prophet said Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire The same power that raised Jesus from the dead He is living on the inside of every soul who believes Spirit and fire, burning in me Spirit and fire, breathe on me Walk by the Spirit and you will not fulfill the flesh The fruit of the Spirit is life at its best Love and joy and peace, patience and kindness too Goodness, faithfulness and gentleness in all you do And self-control... against these there is no law Those who belong to Christ have crucified the flesh and all If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk His way The same Spirit who raised Jesus is in us today He seals us for the day of redemption, He is the guarantee The first fruits of what's coming in eternity He prays for us in groanings that go beyond our words He helps our weakness, carrying what can't be heard So I will not walk in darkness but in Spirit and in light I will not give the enemy a foothold in the night I am a temple of the living God, His dwelling place Filled and led and empowered by His grace The fire is not for comfort only, it's for power and for mission To be witnesses from here to the ends of the earth's commission He didn't leave us powerless in a world that needs the light He gave us the Spirit, now let's go and burn bright Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire Poured out on all flesh just like the Prophet said Spirit and fire, Spirit and fire The same power that raised Jesus from the dead He is living on the inside of every soul who believes Spirit and fire, burning in me Spirit and fire, breathe on me Fill us again, Spirit and fire Come and have Your way, Spirit and fire We are Your temple, Spirit and fire Burn in us today Holy Spirit, come Holy Spirit, move Spirit and fire We are Yours

    Lyrics

No one can snatch me from the Father's hand I am held by something stronger than the sea The One who called me will complete the work He started He who began it will be faithful to the end in me What shall we say to all of this? If God is for us Then who could ever stand against us in the end He who did not spare His Son but gave Him for us all Will freely give us everything... He is our friend Forever saved, forever held In the grip of grace that will not let me go Forever saved, forever sealed By the Spirit as the guarantee of home Nothing in death or life or angels or the powers Nothing now, nothing then, nothing that shall be Can separate me from the love of God In Christ Jesus my Lord... I am forever free I know that my Redeemer lives and He is coming back The Lord Himself will descend with a shout With the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of the Lord And the dead in Christ will rise without a doubt We who are alive and remain will rise to meet Him In the air, to be with Him forever and a day And so we will always be with the Lord our God So encourage one another on the way Forever saved, forever held In the grip of grace that will not let me go Forever saved, forever sealed By the Spirit as the guarantee of home Nothing in death or life or angels or the powers Nothing now, nothing then, nothing that shall be Can separate me from the love of God In Christ Jesus my Lord... I am forever free Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth appear The first heaven and the first earth had passed away And the holy city came descending from on high Prepared like a bride adorned for her wedding day And God said, Now the dwelling place of God is here with men He will dwell with them and they will be His people He will wipe away every tear, there will be no more death No more sorrow, no more crying, all things are made equal Forever saved, forever held In the grip of grace that will not let me go Forever saved, forever sealed By the Spirit as the guarantee of home Nothing in death or life or angels or the powers Nothing now, nothing then, nothing that shall be Can separate me from the love of God In Christ Jesus my Lord... I am forever free The city has no temple, for the Lord God Almighty And the Lamb are the temple there No sun, no moon required For the glory of God is the city's light And the Lamb Himself is the light we share The river of the water of life flows clear as crystal From the throne of God and of the Lamb The tree of life stands bearing fruit And the leaves are for the healing of the land No more night, no more darkness No more sin, no more shame His name on our foreheads We will see His face We will reign forever, we will reign The first promise in the garden finds its final resolution The fracture of the Fall is fully healed What salvation started in the ruins of a garden Is completed in a city that's revealed He is making all things new, He who sits upon the throne He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End To the thirsty He will give to drink without a cost From the spring of the water of life, and bring them in So I walk through this life with a confidence unshaken Not because of what I bring but whose I am The Author and the Finisher of faith is my foundation I am living in the story of the Lamb Every trial is temporary, every sorrow is a shadow Of the weight of glory coming in the end So I fix my eyes on Jesus and I press on toward the morning I am held in the strong hand of God, my Friend Forever saved, forever held In the grip of grace that will not let me go Forever saved, forever sealed By the Spirit as the guarantee of home Nothing in death or life or angels or the powers Nothing now, nothing then, nothing that shall be Can separate me from the love of God In Christ Jesus my Lord... I am forever free Forever free, forever loved Forever held, forever home In the arms of the One who will never let me go Forever saved He is making all things new He is making all things new I am forever saved Forever saved
