AlbumResonance Worship Series

Risen

April 3, 2026 · 20 tracks · 2 hrs 5 mins

The Resonance Worship Series continues with "RISEN", a 20-song biblical journey through the most world-changing event in human history: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Beginning at the breaking of dawn on the first day of the week — when the stone was found rolled away and the tomb stood empty — RISEN follows the stunning, life-altering sequence of events that unfolded in the days between the resurrection morning and the ascension of the Lord, as recorded in the four Gospels and proclaimed throughout the New Testament epistles. From Mary weeping alone in the garden to the disciples' uncontainable joy, from Thomas' honest doubt to Peter's tender restoration on the shores of Galilee, from two hearts burning on the road to Emmaus to the Great Commission thundered from a mountain in Galilee — this album walks the listener through every remarkable encounter with the risen Lord.

But RISEN is more than a narrative retelling. Woven through the story are the deep theological realities that make the resurrection the cornerstone of Christian faith: the utter defeat of sin, death, and the grave; Christ as the firstfruits of all who will rise; the living hope secured for every believer through His victory; the intercession of our risen High Priest at the Father's right hand; and the sure and blazing promise of His glorious return. The album closes with the Ascension — not as an ending, but as a magnificent commissioning and the dawn of a new age — as the risen King is carried up into the clouds, His hands still raised in blessing, and His people stand worshipping, hearts full of wonder, expectation, and unquenchable joy.

Featuring a rich tapestry of cinematic orchestral anthems, intimate worship ballads, triumphant gospel celebrations, driving rock worship, and tender traditional hymns, Resonate the Word brings the full weight of human expression to bear on the event that split history in two. RISEN is more than an album — it is an invitation to encounter the living Christ for yourself: to hear Him call your name, to feel your heart burn within you as He opens the Scriptures, to kneel in the dust and cry "My Lord and my God," and to rise and go tell the world with fearless, joyful certainty: He is not here — He is risen indeed.

    Lyrics

Before the sun had broken on the garden The earth began to tremble and to shake An angel came from heaven like a lightning flash And rolled the heavy stone away The guards who stood to keep the dead from rising Fell like men already dead themselves For what had been accomplished on that Friday Was more than any army could withstand On the third day, the third day Death could not hold the Holy One of God On the third day, the third day The grave gave up the battle it had fought He said He would be raised and it was written In the Psalms and in the prophets long before On the third day, on the third day The King of glory walked out of the tomb The women came with spices in the morning Their hearts as heavy as the stone before the door But heaven had been working through the darkness To accomplish what no mourner was prepared for The Scriptures said You would not see corruption That Your Holy One would not remain in death The suffering servant spoken of by Isaiah Would see the light of life and draw His breath On the third day, the third day Death could not hold the Holy One of God On the third day, the third day The grave gave up the battle it had fought He said He would be raised and it was written In the Psalms and in the prophets long before On the third day, on the third day The King of glory walked out of the tomb For Christ died for our sins as the Scriptures say And He was buried and He rose upon the third day These were not rumors, these were not invented But the testimony of those who saw and stayed More than five hundred saw the risen Savior And the witnesses remain to bear the word That what was finished on the cross was not an ending But the greatest beginning ever heard You are the Holy One of God You are the Living One who died You are the resurrection and the life The third day could not be denied Every tongue will one day name You Every knee will bow before the One Who walked out of the grave on Sunday morning Who has risen, who has risen, He has come The tomb is empty now and will be always The angels folded the burial clothes with care The linen strips that wrapped Him for the burial Are left as evidence that He is not there And we who live on this side of the morning Have staked our every hope upon this claim That on the third day Jesus Christ was risen And death and hell will never be the same On the third day, the third day Death could not hold the Holy One of God On the third day, the third day The grave gave up the battle it had fought He said He would be raised and it was written In the Psalms and in the prophets long before On the third day, on the third day The King of glory walked out of the tomb He is risen He is risen On the third day Just as He said He is risen

    Lyrics

The women came while it was still the morning They brought their spices to anoint the dead They wondered who would roll away the heavy stone for them But found no stone to stop them now instead The earth was shaking and the grave was open And sitting in the darkness, robed in white A messenger of heaven calmly waited To shatter every shadow with the light He is not here He is risen, just as He said He is not here He is not among the dead Come and see the place where He was lying Then go quickly, go and spread the word He is not here He is risen from the dead Do not be afraid, the angel told them I know that you are looking for the crucified But He is not here in this dark and empty garden He has risen from the tomb, He is alive Go quickly and tell His disciples He is going ahead of you to Galilee There you will see Him just as He has told you Go and tell them, go and set the witness free He is not here He is risen, just as He said He is not here He is not among the dead Come and see the place where He was lying Then go quickly, go and spread the word He is not here He is risen from the dead He had told them in the days before the Passover The Son of Man must suffer and be killed But on the third day He said that He would rise again And every word He promised was fulfilled They had not yet understood the Scripture That He must rise again upon the third day But the folded cloths and empty tomb before them Could not be explained another way He said He would be raised and it was written He said it and He did it, He is risen The Holy One of God could not stay buried The Author of all life could not stay dead He is risen He is risen He has walked out of the grave just as He said And now the word has traveled through the centuries The same announcement landing on our ears He is not in any grave or shrine or monument He is not contained by history or years He is the Living One who was and is forever The same Lord who walked out in the morning light Is the risen, reigning King who sits in glory And no power in the universe can fight He is not here He is risen, just as He said He is not here He is not among the dead Come and see the place where He was lying Then go quickly, go and spread the word He is not here He is risen from the dead He is not here... He is not here He is risen... Just as He said

Why Do You Seek the Living Among the Dead

    Luke 24:5-8; John 11:25-26; Romans 6:9; Revelation 1:18

    Lyrics

She came in the darkness with tears on her face Looking for Jesus in His resting place She brought what she carried, her grief and her spices But the tomb that she came to held only the night Two men in dazzling light stood asking her then The question that changed every searching heart when Why do you look in the silence and dark For the One who is living and whole Why do you seek the living among the dead He is not here, He rose up just as He said Why do you look in the grave for the One who reigns The tomb could not keep Him, He has broken all chains He holds the keys of death and of Hades today Death has no dominion, it could not make Him stay So lift up your eyes from the tomb and turn around The Living One is calling and He can be found Remember He told you while still in Galilee The Son of Man must suffer but rise in three They remembered His words and they turned from the grave And ran to the others with news of the saved We too come looking in the places of loss We search in our sorrow and camp at the cross But Easter has moved every story along The grave is just empty, and that is the song Why do you seek the living among the dead He is not here, He rose up just as He said Why do you look in the grave for the One who reigns The tomb could not keep Him, He has broken all chains He holds the keys of death and of Hades today Death has no dominion, it could not make Him stay So lift up your eyes from the tomb and turn around The Living One is calling and He can be found I am the resurrection, He said, I am life Whoever believes in Me walks out of the night Though a man may die yet he shall live again And whoever lives and believes will not see end Jesus Christ rose from the dead never to die Death no longer has mastery, no longer has right He has overcome everything that overcomes us And He is alive today and so we trust Lord I have been looking for You in the wrong places Looking for answers where answers cannot grow Looking for life in the places of the buried Looking for hope where only cold stones go Forgive me for sitting beside the empty grave When You are calling me to meet You up ahead Forgive me for seeking You among the shadows When You are the Living One who conquered death I was dead in my sin and He came down for me He bore the weight of death so that I could be free And when He walked out of the tomb that morning He walked out carrying everyone who'd believe The question still echoes across every age For every heart who lingers in a grieving place Why do you seek the living among the dead He is risen, He is risen, He has said Why do you seek the living among the dead He is not here, He rose up just as He said Why do you look in the grave for the One who reigns The tomb could not keep Him, He has broken all chains He holds the keys of death and of Hades today Death has no dominion, it could not make Him stay So lift up your eyes from the tomb and turn around The Living One is calling and He can be found He is the Living One He was dead and behold He is alive Forevermore He can be found

    Mary

John 20:11-18; Song of Solomon 3:4; Isaiah 43:1

    Lyrics

She stood outside the tomb and wept her sorrow Her love had bled and died upon a tree She did not know that morning was a doorway She only knew the weight of what had been She stooped and looked inside and there beheld them Two angels where His body once had lain Woman, why do you weep? they gently asked her She said, They've taken my Lord, I know not where Then He spoke her name One word broke the grave Mary One word and she knew The gardener she thought He was Was the risen Lord she adored Mary He called her name and everything was changed She turned and saw Him standing in the garden But grief had blinded every searching eye She thought perhaps He was just the gardener And spoke to Him through tears she couldn't hide Sir, if you've carried Him away from here Then tell me where He's laid and I'll bring Him home Then He spoke her name One word broke the grave Mary One word and she knew The gardener she thought He was Was the risen Lord she adored Mary He called her name and everything was changed She held to Him, her teacher, her Rabboni Her hands that held the spices now held Him But He said, Do not cling to Me—go now I have not yet ascended, go and say To all My brothers: I ascend above To My God, My Father and yours She ran with resurrection in her stride The first to tell the world He was alive He knows every name of every mourner Who has wept beside a grave and could not see That the stranger standing in the shadows Is the risen Lord who calls you by your name Fear not, He says, for I have redeemed you I have called you by your name, you are My own When you pass through the waters I will be there You will never be abandoned, you are known And so it is that every one who follows Will someday hear their name in His familiar voice Not in a grave, not in the cold dark silence But in the morning garden, face to face He calls the mourner, calls the one who lingers He calls the one who thought that love was gone He speaks our names with resurrection power And every heart that hears Him carries on Then He speaks our name One word breaks the grave He is risen One word and we know The stranger that we thought He was Is the risen Lord we adore He is calling He calls our name and everything is changed Mary He called her by name He calls your name too Do not be afraid He is risen

    Lyrics

They left the tomb with trembling and great joy The knowledge of His rising in their veins They raced to tell the brothers what they'd witnessed Running with a word the world had not yet heard Jesus met them on the way that morning And they fell down at His feet and held Him fast He said Greetings! and they worshipped, overcome Then He sent them to the brothers with the news Go and tell Go and tell them He is risen Go and tell He is not among the dead Go and tell What your eyes have seen this morning Go and tell the whole world what the angel said He is risen He is risen He is risen from the dead Go and tell the world He is risen from the dead Do not be afraid, go tell My brothers That they should go to Galilee from here They will see Me just as I have told them Now go to them and tell them do not fear Mary ran and found the other mourners And told them He was risen, He was seen But their words seemed like idle talk to them For they had not yet grasped what this could mean Go and tell Go and tell them He is risen Go and tell He is not among the dead Go and tell What your eyes have seen this morning Go and tell the whole world what the angel said He is risen He is risen He is risen from the dead Go and tell the world He is risen from the dead For twenty centuries this news keeps moving Through every generation, every land From Jerusalem to Rome to all the nations To every heart that dares to take His hand The same announcement ringing through the ages He is risen, He is risen, spread the word The firsthand witnesses may long be gone But the empty tomb still shouts He is not dead He is risen (He is risen!) Tell the world (tell the world!) Death is conquered (death is conquered!) Spread the word (spread the word!) Every nation (every nation!) Every tongue (every tongue!) He is risen from the dead (He is risen from the dead!) He is risen, He is risen, He is risen from the dead And so we run like women from the garden We run with trembling joy we cannot contain The resurrection changes everything We cannot keep this good news to ourselves We tell our families and all around us We tell the ones who have not heard His name Because the risen Jesus sent the women And He sends us to tell the world the same Go and tell Go and tell them He is risen Go and tell He is not among the dead Go and tell What your eyes have seen this morning Go and tell the whole world what the angel said He is risen He is risen He is risen from the dead Go and tell the world He is risen from the dead Go and tell... Go and tell He is risen from the dead

    The Evidence

    John 20:3-10; Luke 24:12; John 19:40-42; Isaiah 53:9

    Lyrics

Peter heard the news and started running With John beside him, matching stride for stride Until John outran Peter, reached there first And waited at the entrance, wondering He stooped and saw the linen strips within But did not cross the threshold, held in awe Then Simon Peter came and went straight in And saw the burial cloths still where He'd lain The evidence is laid out in the morning The face cloth folded, set apart with care The kind of proof no fraud could fabricate The empty tomb of Jesus, standing there No grieving disciple arranged this scene Not a wishful tale of those who'd lost their way The evidence stands written in history He rose, He is risen, He is alive today Nicodemus wrapped Him in the burial spices A hundred pounds of myrrh and aloes laid The fine linen cloths enfolding Him completely The way that Jewish burial was made But what they folded on that Friday evening Would be unfolded by the hand of God The linen and the darkness could not hold The body of the living, risen Lord The evidence is laid out in the morning The face cloth folded, set apart with care The kind of proof no fraud could fabricate The empty tomb of Jesus, standing there No grieving disciple arranged this scene Not a wishful tale of those who'd lost their way The evidence stands written in history He rose, He is risen, He is alive today The one He loved then followed Peter in He saw and in that moment he believed Though they had not yet understood the Scripture That He must rise—that He could not stay dead A grave robber does not fold the face cloth A frightened band of followers would not dare The careful order of the burial wrappings Points to One who calmly chose to leave them there I have not stood before the empty tomb I have not touched the nail prints in His hands But those eyewitnesses who ran that day Provide the ground on which my faith can stand Isaiah said He'd lie among the wicked But the rich provided burial instead And every word the prophet wrote before us Was sealed within that garden of the dead The evidence of Jesus keeps expanding In every life that Jesus Christ has changed In every heart that cannot stay the same Once the risen Lord has called their name Two thousand years of witnesses before us And now this generation adds its voice The evidence declares that He is risen And in that truth we plant our every choice The evidence is laid out in the morning The face cloth folded, set apart with care The kind of proof no fraud could fabricate The empty tomb of Jesus, standing there No grieving disciple arranged this scene Not a wishful tale of those who'd lost their way The evidence stands written in history He rose, He is risen, He is alive today He saw and believed The face cloth, set apart and folded The linen strips remaining He is risen He is risen

    Burning Hearts

    Luke 24:13-32; Psalm 119:105; Luke 24:45

    Lyrics

Two of them were walking on the road to Emmaus Seven miles from Jerusalem that day Their faces heavy with the grief of Friday's ending Discussing all the things that came to pass A stranger came and walked along beside them And asked what they were talking of along the way They stood still, their faces full of sorrow And said are you the only one who doesn't know today Were not our hearts burning within us While He was talking, while He opened up the road Were not our hearts burning within us While He broke the Scriptures open like a code We did not know the stranger in our sadness But our hearts were lit before we saw His face Burning hearts, burning hearts, we were burning And we met Him in the breaking of the bread He said to them O foolish ones and slow of heart To believe all that the prophets ever said Was it not written that the Christ must suffer first And then enter into glory from the dead Beginning then with Moses and all the prophets He explained every Scripture as they walked Every passage pointing toward this morning Every prophecy arriving as He talked Were not our hearts burning within us While He was talking, while He opened up the road Were not our hearts burning within us While He broke the Scriptures open like a code We did not know the stranger in our sadness But our hearts were lit before we saw His face Burning hearts, burning hearts, we were burning And we met Him in the breaking of the bread They came close to the village in the evening And the stranger walked as though He would go on But they urged Him stay with us for it is getting late now And the day is nearly gone He went in to stay with them and at the table He took the bread and blessed it and gave thanks And their eyes were opened and they knew Him fully Then He vanished, and they rose up from their place Your word is a lamp unto my feet And a light unto my path You open up the Scriptures to the seeking heart And when You speak the darkness cannot last They rose and ran the seven miles back together And found the Eleven gathered in one place Saying the Lord has truly risen, He appeared to Simon And they told the burning story of their grace And so it is that Jesus meets us on our roads When grief and loss have made the journey long He draws near in the Scriptures and at the table And hearts catch fire even in the wrong We may not recognize Him in the stranger We may not know Him till the breaking comes But if we'll let Him walk beside us and speak to us Our hearts will burn until He is made known Were not our hearts burning within us While He was talking, while He opened up the road Were not our hearts burning within us While He broke the Scriptures open like a code We did not know the stranger in our sadness But our hearts were lit before we saw His face Burning hearts, burning hearts, we were burning And we met Him in the breaking of the bread Were not our hearts burning When He opened up the Word He is risen He walks with us still

    Lyrics

Was it not written in the ancient prophets That the Christ must suffer and then be glorified O foolish hearts so slow to believe the Scriptures All that the holy messengers had testified From Moses through the law unto the Psalms And every prophet stretching toward this day Jesus opened up the Word and showed the doubters That the cross was never accident or stray It was necessary, it was written It was purposed in the counsel of the Lord Every word foretold and every promise given Was fulfilled in Him, the Living Word He had to suffer, He had to enter glory He had to die and on the third day rise It was necessary, not accidental The Lamb was slain before the morning light My God my God why have You now forsaken The Psalmist cried in prophecy before They pierced His hands and feet and parted garments And cast their lots as David had foreswore He was despised, rejected by the nations A man of sorrows, shunned and set aside He took our griefs and carried all our sorrows As Isaiah walked the suffering before it arrived It was necessary, it was written It was purposed in the counsel of the Lord Every word foretold and every promise given Was fulfilled in Him, the Living Word He had to suffer, He had to enter glory He had to die and on the third day rise It was necessary, not accidental The Lamb was slain before the morning light He was pierced for our transgressions crushed for our iniquities The punishment that brought us peace was His The Lord laid on Him the iniquity of many And He bore it all, this suffering Christ of His After He had borne the grief and paid the ransom He would see the light of life, His soul satisfied The righteous servant making many righteous Each word of it precisely testified Come let us return unto the Lord He has torn us and He will heal our wounds He has struck down but He will bind the broken After two days on the third day we will move Hosea saw it in the distant morning A resurrection promise through the mist The ancient Word had always seen the rising And now the risen Lord has made it whole and complete He said to them these are My words I told you While I was still with you among the living That everything written in Moses and the Prophets And in the Psalms about Me had to be given Then He opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures That repentance and forgiveness would be named And that the witnesses would go into the nations Beginning in Jerusalem proclaiming what was gained It was necessary, it was written It was purposed in the counsel of the Lord Every word foretold and every promise given Was fulfilled in Him, the Living Word He had to suffer, He had to enter glory He had to die and on the third day rise It was necessary, not accidental The Lamb was slain before the morning light It was written It was fulfilled He suffered and He is glorified It was necessary

The doors were shut, the fear was thick among them The day had ended strange with women's words Then suddenly He stood among the frightened followers And the voice they thought they'd never hear was heard Peace be with you, He said, and showed His hands and side And their grief became a joy no tongue could hold He had kept His word, He had come back to them in promise The same Lord they had walked with on the road Peace be with you Peace that only Jesus gives Peace be with you Not as the world gives, but His He stood among the frightened and the broken And spoke a peace that silenced every fear Peace be with you The risen Lord is here As the Father has sent Me, so I also send you He breathed on them, receive the Holy Spirit The One who could not stay dead could not stay absent He appeared among them in a room locked tight He showed them all the evidence of Friday The marks of what He suffered for their sake And in that sealed and frightened room the mourning Became a worship they could barely take Peace be with you Peace that only Jesus gives Peace be with you Not as the world gives, but His He stood among the frightened and the broken And spoke a peace that silenced every fear Peace be with you The risen Lord is here They thought that they were seeing only a spirit He said why are you troubled in your soul Look at My hands and feet and come and touch Me A spirit does not have flesh and bone, you know He asked them if they had anything to eat there And they gave Him a piece of broiled fish He ate it there before them all in glory The resurrection was no fleeting wish Therefore since we have been justified through faith We have this peace with God through Christ our Lord Through Him we gained access to this grace in which we stand And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of the Lord It is not an emotion that depends upon our comfort It is not a calm that only comes in easy days It is the peace that passes all our understanding The settled rest that Jesus on the cross has paid That peace He gave the disciples on the Sunday Is the same peace flowing now through the blood For every door locked tight with fear and uncertainty The risen Jesus comes and stands above He does not knock and wait for our composure He simply enters where the shuttered heart is hid And says the same words He said to those disciples Peace be with you, what I promised now I did Peace be with you Peace that only Jesus gives Peace be with you Not as the world gives, but His He stands among the frightened and the broken And speaks a peace that silences every fear Peace be with you The risen Lord is here Peace be with you Peace that only Jesus gives Peace be with you Not as the world gives, but His He stands among the frightened and the broken And speaks a peace that silences every fear Peace be with you The risen Lord is here Peace be with you Peace be with you The risen Lord is here

Thomas was not with them when He appeared on Sunday So the others told him what they'd seen and heard We have seen the Lord, they said, we saw His wounds displayed But Thomas said I cannot take your word Unless I see the nail prints in His hands myself And put my fingers in the wounds He bore And put my hand into His side where they had pierced Him I will not believe it, I cannot be sure My Lord and my God I was blind but now I see My Lord and my God You are not just history The wounds that You are showing me Are the wounds that set me free My Lord and my God I fall before Your feet Eight days passed and then the doors were closed together And Jesus came and stood among them all He turned directly to the one who doubted And called his name across that upper hall Put your finger here and see My hands, He told him Reach out your hand and place it in My side Do not go on in unbelief but believe it And Thomas did not need to touch to find My Lord and my God I was blind but now I see My Lord and my God You are not just history The wounds that You are showing me Are the wounds that set me free My Lord and my God I fall before Your feet He fell before the risen Lord in worship The doubter became the one who bore the highest claim My Lord and my God, the fullest declaration That ever crossed a disciple's lips in flame For only one who touched the fire of doubting Can utter those words with everything they weigh Thomas spent his doubt and came up empty And found the risen God who filled his frame Have I not sworn that every knee will bow down And every tongue confess that I am Lord The day is coming when the world's last doubter Will look upon the risen Lord and see But blessed are the ones who have not seen and yet believe Who take the testimony and bow their knee For the end of every honest road of doubting Is a Thomas on his face before the living God And so for every doubter in the middle Who carries all the wounds of unanswered prayer Jesus does not argue or condemn the wrestling But He comes and stands among us right there He says here are My hands and here is My side Look at Me, reach out, see that it is true And every honest heart that meets the risen Jesus Must cry out like Thomas, my Lord and my God My Lord and my God I was blind but now I see My Lord and my God You are not just history The wounds that You are showing me Are the wounds that set me free My Lord and my God I fall before Your feet My Lord And my God He is risen He is truly risen

Thomas saw the risen Lord and cried out in his worship And Jesus spoke a word that echoed through the years You believe because you have seen with your own eyes But blessed are the ones who have not seen Who have not touched the nail prints in the morning Who have not walked the road to the garden tomb But who believe on the testimony of the firsthand witnesses This is the blessing given to me and you Blessed are those who have not seen Yet believe in the risen Lord Blessed are those who walk in faith And not by what their eyes have stored Though we have not seen Him we love Him Though we cannot see Him now we believe And we rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and glorious Blessed are those who have not seen Faith is the substance of the things that we are hoping for The evidence of what we cannot see Without faith it is impossible to please Him For we must believe He is and that He rewards those who seek These signs were written so that you may believe That Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God That in believing you may have life in His name This is the reason for the resurrection record Blessed are those who have not seen Yet believe in the risen Lord Blessed are those who walk in faith And not by what their eyes have stored Though we have not seen Him we love Him Though we cannot see Him now we believe And we rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and glorious Blessed are those who have not seen Though you have not seen Him you love Him Though you do not see Him now you believe And you are filled with a glory past all human speaking For the outcome of your faith is this receipt Your soul's salvation, the resurrection life Awaiting those who loved Him though they'd never met Two thousand years of followers who heard and who believed And the blessing has not faded or been spent We walk by faith and not by sight But faith is not a shot in the dark The testimony of the witnesses is faithful And the Spirit bears it witness in our hearts The empty tomb, the risen Lord, the eyewitness account Paul who listed names of those who saw Him still alive This is not invented and we do not follow fable But the blessed firm foundation of our life And one day we will see Him as He truly is We will look upon the face that Mary saw The very hands of Thomas will have counterparts in us all When the faith gives way to sight at last But until that morning we are called the blessed The ones who love the Lord they've never seen And the joy in us is not a lesser portion But a glory full of Jesus and His peace Blessed are those who have not seen Yet believe in the risen Lord Blessed are those who walk in faith And not by what their eyes have stored Though we have not seen Him we love Him Though we cannot see Him now we believe And we rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and glorious Blessed are those who have not seen Blessed are those who have not seen Yet believe Though we have not seen Him we love Him And we rejoice

    Come and Have Breakfast

    John 21:1-14; John 6:35; Luke 5:1-11; Ezekiel 37:13-14

    Lyrics

Seven of them had gone back to the water Simon Peter said I'm going out to fish tonight They said we will come with you, they got in the boat together And they fished until the morning with no fish in sight As daylight broke a figure on the shore was calling Children, do you have a catch to show? They said no He said cast your net on the right side of the vessel And the net was suddenly so full they couldn't let it go Come and have breakfast He's calling from the shore Come and have breakfast There's fish already on the fire He's not a ghost, He walks the morning sand He builds a fire and feeds us with His hands Come and have breakfast The risen Lord provides The one whom Jesus loved looked up and said it's the Lord And Simon Peter leaped into the sea He swam a hundred yards just to reach his Savior faster While the others dragged the net of fish in free When they came to land there was a charcoal fire burning With fish already on it in the heat He said bring some of the fish that you just caught now And come and gather here with Me and eat Come and have breakfast He's calling from the shore Come and have breakfast There's fish already on the fire He's not a ghost, He walks the morning sand He builds a fire and feeds us with His hands Come and have breakfast The risen Lord provides None of them dared ask Him who He was They knew it was the Lord who spoke and fed He took the bread and gave it to the hungry Then passed the fish the same as He had said This was now the third time He had shown Himself To His disciples risen from the dead Just like the day He called them from this very water He met them where they were and gave them bread I am the bread of life, He once had told them Whoever comes to Me will never hunger more And whoever trusts in Me will never thirst again The living bread come down from heaven's shore Now here He stands again beside the water Making bread and fish appear as only He can do The very Lord who once had multiplied the loaves there Is the same risen Lord who meets and cares for you The net held a hundred fifty-three great fish And yet somehow that net was never torn A miracle for those who worked all night for nothing A sign of all the harvest yet to be born He is the One who fills the empty net He is the One who meets us in the night And when the long hours end in disappointment The risen Lord stands on the shore at morning's light Come and have breakfast He's calling from the shore Come and have breakfast There's fish already on the fire He's not a ghost, He walks the morning sand He builds a fire and feeds us with His hands Come and have breakfast The risen Lord provides Come and have breakfast He is here on the shore The risen Lord provides He is risen Indeed

    Lyrics

By the charcoal fire where the morning met the water He asked the one who swore he never would betray Simon, son of John, do you love Me more than these do And Peter heard the question carry all its weight Yes Lord, You know that I love You, he said back to Him Feed My lambs, the risen Lord replied And then He asked a second time, do you love Me truly And the third time broke the heart that had denied Do you love Me More than all the rest you hold Do you love Me More than comfort, more than cold Do you love Me Here beside the fire where you once denied Do you love Me Then go and feed My sheep and follow close behind Lord You know all things, You know that I love You That is what the broken fisherman replied Jesus said then feed My sheep and tend My lambs now The love restored becomes the love supplied He had denied three times by another fire And three times now the question came around Not to punish but to write the story forward Three times love restored where love had drowned Do you love Me More than all the rest you hold Do you love Me More than comfort, more than cold Do you love Me Here beside the fire where you once denied Do you love Me Then go and feed My sheep and follow close behind He said when you were young you dressed and went where you chose But when you are old another will take you where you will not go He was speaking of the death by which he'd glorify God there The shepherd's cross that Peter too would know And then He said the words He said at the beginning When first He called the fisherman from his boat Follow Me, the same two words from the shore of Galilee The risen Lord repeating what He wrote Simon, satan has asked to sift you like wheat But I have prayed for you that your faith will not fail And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers That was what He told him on the night of betrayal The prayer was prayed and Peter's faith returned Through failure, grief, denial, and despair And here at the charcoal fire the risen Jesus Reclaimed the one who thought himself beyond repair And so to every heart that has denied Him In the courtyard of their own cowardice and fear The risen Lord is standing at the fireside Asking the same question you most need to hear Do you love Me, He still asks the broken Not to wound the wound that still is raw But to write the restoration over failure And call the fallen shepherd back once more Do you love Me More than all the rest you hold Do you love Me More than comfort, more than cold Do you love Me Here beside the fire where you once denied Do you love Me Then go and feed My sheep and follow close behind Do you love Me Lord, You know all things You know that I love You Follow Me

They went to Galilee to the mountain He had ordered And when they saw Him there they worshipped at His feet Though some of them were still uncertain in their doubting He came and stood before them and He speaks All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me Not some authority, not merely earthly power But every throne and kingdom, every height and depth All authority is Mine from this hour Go therefore and make disciples of all nations Baptize them in the name of the Father Son and Spirit Teach them to observe everything I've commanded And lo I am with you always do not fear it All authority is His All authority is His On His shoulders every nation has been placed All authority is His All authority is His He sends us out and goes before us every place Go into all the world and preach the gospel To every creature living under heaven's span This is what He told them in that morning After He had risen from the grave and stands He said that repentance and forgiveness of all sins Would be proclaimed in His name to every nation Beginning in Jerusalem and flowing outward From the empty tomb to every generation Go therefore and make disciples of all nations Baptize them in the name of the Father Son and Spirit Teach them to observe everything I've commanded And lo I am with you always do not fear it All authority is His All authority is His On His shoulders every nation has been placed All authority is His All authority is His He sends us out and goes before us every place You will receive power when the Spirit comes upon you And you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem And in Judea and in Samaria and the uttermost Until the word has reached the farthest rim For you are witnesses of all these things Of His life and death and resurrection day And now the risen Lord who holds all authority Is sending out His people to obey The King has won the battle He has risen from the dead The keys of every kingdom Are hanging at His side He sends us not as orphans into foreign lands He sends us bearing all His name and all His hand He is the Lord of heaven and of earth He is the Lord of every tribe and every birth And He says go for I am going with you He says go for all the earth belongs to Me He says go baptizing and teaching all the nations He says go and I will be there to the end The Great Commission is not merely history It is the living Word addressed to us today The mountain where He stood is now the church of Jesus And He is still commanding, still He says Go, teach, baptize and I will be beside you I will not leave you stranded in the field For the One who holds all authority in heaven and on earth Is the One who sends and who will never yield Go therefore and make disciples of all nations Baptize them in the name of the Father Son and Spirit Teach them to observe everything I've commanded And lo I am with you always do not fear it All authority is His All authority is His On His shoulders every nation has been placed All authority is His All authority is His He sends us out and goes before us every place All authority He is with us always To the end of the age Go

Death Is Swallowed Up in Victory

    1 Corinthians 15:54-57; Hebrews 2:14-15; Revelation 1:17-18; Hosea 13:14; Isaiah 25:8

    Lyrics

Death has held its power since the garden Since the day that Adam fell and brought the curse Every generation bowed before it Every grave a word no one could yet reverse But there was One who came to face the tyrant Who took on flesh and blood to break the chain And by His death He stripped the one who held death's power And set at liberty the ones enslaved Death is swallowed up in victory Where O death is now your sting Where O grave is now your victory We stand on the other side and sing The sting of death was sin and law condemned us But God has given us the victory through His Son Death is swallowed up in victory The battle is over, it is done On the cross He tasted death for every person He took the curse and bore it in His frame Then He crushed the serpent with the resurrection And walked out of the tomb and spoke our name He shared in our humanity to free us From the fear of death that held us all our lives Now we need not tremble in the shadow of dying For the One who died and rose holds life inside Death is swallowed up in victory Where O death is now your sting Where O grave is now your victory We stand on the other side and sing The sting of death was sin and law condemned us But God has given us the victory through His Son Death is swallowed up in victory The battle is over, it is done I shall ransom them from the power of the grave I shall redeem them from the death that comes Where, O death, are your plagues, where is your destruction This was spoken by the ancient voice of God Isaiah saw it too from ages earlier The Lord will swallow death up once for all And wipe the tears from every face forever And every shame of His people He will call Do not fear, I am the First and the Last I am the Living One who was dead And behold I am alive forevermore I hold the keys of Death and Hades, He said So we can shout with confidence and thunder Death has no power over those He holds today The grave has lost its grip, the ground is shaking The King has walked out living from the fray One day this mortal frame will put on immortal One day the corruptible will be no more The trumpet will sound and the dead will rise incorruptible And we shall be transformed down to the core This is the victory that the resurrection guarantees The final word belongs to God alone And every grave that ever swallowed up a saint Is just a resting place until they come home Death is swallowed up in victory Where O death is now your sting Where O grave is now your victory We stand on the other side and sing The sting of death was sin and law condemned us But God has given us the victory through His Son Death is swallowed up in victory The battle is over, it is done Death is swallowed up In victory Thanks be to God Who gives us the victory Through our Lord Jesus Christ

    1 Corinthians 15:20-28; Colossians 1:18; Romans 8:29; Revelation 1:5

    Lyrics

Christ has been raised from the dead The firstfruits of all who have slept The guarantee that those who died believing Will rise when He returns to keep For since by one man death came to the many By one Man life has come for all who trust As all have died in Adam in the darkness In Christ shall all be made alive and just He is the firstfruits The firstborn from the dead He is the firstfruits The promise and the pledge What He became in resurrection morning Every child of God will one day be He is the firstfruits The beginning of the harvest yet to come The ancient priests would bring the firstfruits forward As a token of the harvest yet to come The sheaf presented at the altar Consecrated all the harvest to the Son So when the tomb gave up its firstfruits offering The promise sealed the harvest in its wake All who belong to Christ will rise at His returning This is the covenant the firstfruits made He is the firstfruits The firstborn from the dead He is the firstfruits The promise and the pledge What He became in resurrection morning Every child of God will one day be He is the firstfruits The beginning of the harvest yet to come Christ is the head of the body of the church He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead In all things He might have the preeminence For all the fullness of God in Him has spread He is the faithful witness, ruler of the kings of earth The One who loved us and has freed us from our sin The firstborn from the dead, the Alpha and Omega Who was and is and is to come again For those whom God foreknew He also destined To be conformed into the image of His Son So that Jesus would be firstborn among many brothers The family of God would not be only One He is the firstborn, we are the many He blazed the trail we all will travel on that day The firstfruits of the resurrection morning Has guaranteed the harvest on its way The end will come when He delivers up the kingdom To God the Father when all rule is done Every enemy laid at last beneath His footsteps And death the final enemy undone For He must reign until He puts all things beneath Him And God will be all in all upon that day The firstfruits points toward that great and glorious morning When every grave is opened to the day He is the firstfruits The firstborn from the dead He is the firstfruits The promise and the pledge What He became in resurrection morning Every child of God will one day be He is the firstfruits The beginning of the harvest yet to come The firstfruits Christ has been raised from the dead The firstborn from among the dead And we shall follow

    Lyrics

Do you not know that all who were baptized Into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death We were buried therefore with Him through the water So that as He rose we too might draw new breath For if we are united with Him in His death We shall certainly be united in His life The old self crucified so that the body of sin dies And we who once were dead are now alive Alive in Him I was dead but now I am alive in Christ Raised with Him My life is hidden with the Father on high He was raised to life by the Father's power And I was raised with Him in that same hour Alive in Him, alive in Him No longer slave to sin, alive in Him Since you have been raised together with Christ Set your heart on things that are above Where Christ is seated at the Father's right hand For you were raised and held by resurrection love For you have died and your life is hid with Christ in God When Christ appears — and He is your life — that day You also will be seen with Him revealed in glory The resurrection brought to full display Alive in Him I was dead but now I am alive in Christ Raised with Him My life is hidden with the Father on high He was raised to life by the Father's power And I was raised with Him in that same hour Alive in Him, alive in Him No longer slave to sin, alive in Him But God who is rich in mercy for the love With which He loved us even when we died Made us alive together with the risen Jesus And raised us up together by His side And seated us with Christ in the heavenly places So that in the coming ages He might show The immeasurable riches of His grace and kindness In Jesus Christ for all the world to know I have been crucified with Christ It is no longer I who live But Christ who lives in me, the life I live I live by faith in the Son of God Who loved me and gave Himself for me I am not my own, I was bought with a price The resurrection happened not just to Jesus It happened in me when He became my life So count yourselves as dead to sin but living Alive to God in Jesus Christ the Lord Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body For you are not under law but under grace outpoured The grace that takes a dead heart and revives it The grace that marks the resurrection in your life The grace that says you are no longer who you were You are now alive, forever alive in Christ Alive in Him I was dead but now I am alive in Christ Raised with Him My life is hidden with the Father on high He was raised to life by the Father's power And I was raised with Him in that same hour Alive in Him, alive in Him No longer slave to sin, alive in Him Alive in Him Buried with Him, raised with Him My life is hidden with Christ in God Alive in Him Alive in Him

    1 Peter 1:3-9; Titus 2:13; Romans 8:18-25; Hebrews 6:19-20

    Lyrics

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Who according to His mercy caused us to be born Born again to a living hope through the resurrection Of Jesus Christ who rose upon the third morn To an inheritance that does not fade or perish Kept in heaven for the ones who are preserved through faith By the power of God until the full salvation That is ready to be unveiled on that last day Living hope Not a dead hope nailed to history Living hope Not a wish that failed and ceased to be He rose and our hope rose with Him Imperishable, undefiled, and sure Living hope The resurrection of the Lord In this you rejoice although now for a little while You may have had to suffer grief in every kind of trial So that the proven genuineness of your faith More precious than the gold that fades may result in praise For gold is tested by the fire and it perishes But faith refined by fire remains and stands And at the revealing of Jesus Christ the proven Faith will shine more brightly than the finest gold of man Living hope Not a dead hope nailed to history Living hope Not a wish that failed and ceased to be He rose and our hope rose with Him Imperishable, undefiled, and sure Living hope The resurrection of the Lord We are looking for the blessed hope and appearing Of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ who gave Himself to redeem us From all lawlessness and make a people for His favor This hope is not a feeling or a theory It is an anchor for the soul both firm and sure It enters the inner place behind the curtain Where Jesus as our forerunner has gone before For the creation waits in eager longing For the revealing of the sons of God to come The whole creation groans together in its labor Waiting for adoption, for the promised Son We too who have the firstfruits of the Spirit Groan within ourselves for what we've not yet seen But hope that sees is not a hope worth waiting for So we wait in faith for what we have not yet received The present suffering is not worth comparing To the glory that will one day be revealed And in the waiting, hope does not disappoint us Because the love of God has been the seal Poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit Given to the ones who have believed and called And the God of hope will fill us now with joy and peace So we overflow with hope by His power over all Living hope Not a dead hope nailed to history Living hope Not a wish that failed and ceased to be He rose and our hope rose with Him Imperishable, undefiled, and sure Living hope The resurrection of the Lord Living hope Born again through the resurrection Of Jesus Christ from the dead

    Lyrics

Every priest who served before the altar Would finish and would pass away at last The priesthood changed from generation after No priest could serve beyond the moment of his past But Jesus holds His priesthood without ending Because He lives and will not cease to be He is the priest eternal and unchanging The one high priest who serves perpetually He ever lives to make intercession He ever lives to plead for those He loves He ever lives before the throne of glory He ever lives, our great High Priest above He is able to save completely All who draw near to God through Him alone He ever lives to make intercession The risen priest forever on His throne If anyone should sin against the Father We have an advocate who pleads our part Jesus Christ the righteous, the atoning sacrifice Who stands before the throne of God's own heart Who is the one who condemns us, who will charge us It is Christ who died, yes rather who was raised Who is at the right hand of God now interceding Interceding, ever there to plead our case He ever lives to make intercession He ever lives to plead for those He loves He ever lives before the throne of glory He ever lives, our great High Priest above He is able to save completely All who draw near to God through Him alone He ever lives to make intercession The risen priest forever on His throne Since we have a great high priest who has passed through The heavens, Jesus the Son of God so dear Let us hold fast the confession we have spoken And know that He is sympathetic and is near We do not have a high priest who cannot feel our weakness For He was tested in all points as we are Yet without sin, and so we come with boldness To the throne of grace, to find His mercy there He was dead and He is now the Living One He was buried and He lives forevermore And all the prayers that rise from every saint and sufferer Are heard by the One who walked out of the tomb before He carries every name before the Father He takes the incense of our cries to God above The risen, living, ever-interceding Savior Is the only mediator, our advocate in love And so we do not grieve as those without a priest As those whose prayers die unheard in the air For the risen Lord is seated at the Father's right hand And our names are written on the hands He bears He tends the altar with the work of resurrection The sacrifice complete, the service ongoing still The One who died on Friday for our every failure Is the One who lives on Sunday for our will He ever lives to make intercession He ever lives to plead for those He loves He ever lives before the throne of glory He ever lives, our great High Priest above He is able to save completely All who draw near to God through Him alone He ever lives to make intercession The risen priest forever on His throne He ever lives To make intercession For us He is able to save To the uttermost He ever lives

    Lyrics

He led them out to Bethany beyond the city And lifted up His hands and blessed them all And while He blessed them He was carried up to heaven And a cloud received Him, taking Him from all The disciples stood and stared into the sky there As He was taken from their sight above Until two men in white stood there beside them Asking why they gazed into the cloud Lifted up in glory Taken up in a cloud of light Lifted up in glory Ascending to the Father's right The hands that broke the bread and bore the nail prints Are raised in blessing as He goes on high Lifted up in glory He is seated at the Father's side This same Jesus who was taken up from you Will come again in just the way you have seen He departed not in secret, not in sorrow But in blessing and in triumph and in peace When He ascended on the heights He led a captive train And gave His gifts to men as it was said He who descended to the lowest parts of earth Is also He who fills all things overhead Lifted up in glory Taken up in a cloud of light Lifted up in glory Ascending to the Father's right The hands that broke the bread and bore the nail prints Are raised in blessing as He goes on high Lifted up in glory He is seated at the Father's side In my vision I could see one like a son of man Coming with the clouds of heaven on that day He came before the Ancient of Days and was presented And to Him was given dominion that would stay All peoples, nations, languages will worship Him His dominion is an everlasting reign His kingdom will not pass and will not be destroyed The stone the builders rejected has become the main The disciples returned to Jerusalem with great joy And they were continually in the temple praising God They waited as He told them for the promise of the Father For the power that was coming from above They had followed Him to Calvary and watched beside the burial They had run to tell the risen Lord they found And now they turned from Bethany with worship on their lips And glory in their hearts without a sound He is gone but He is coming He is gone but He is here He is reigning and returning And every eye will see Him and will fear Maranatha, come Lord Jesus Every tongue will one day cry His name The One who ascended will descend in glory And the whole earth will never be the same The disciples went back worshipping and full of joy And everything He promised had begun He who told them wait for the Spirit of the Father Was the same Lord who sent the promised One The resurrection was the hinge of all of history The ascension was the doorway to the new And we who live between His going and His coming Are the witnesses He left the world to move Lifted up in glory Taken up in a cloud of light Lifted up in glory Ascending to the Father's right The hands that broke the bread and bore the nail prints Are raised in blessing as He goes on high Lifted up in glory He is seated at the Father's side He is coming again In the same way you have seen Him go Maranatha Come, Lord Jesus He who testifies to these things says Yes, I am coming soon Amen Come, Lord Jesus He is lifted up He is risen He is coming again
